1-1 SEN TA - Psychology Graduate

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a Psychology graduate to work as an 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant at a dynamic and forward thinking secondary school in the Ashford area. The role will be a full time long term position to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. The daily rate will be between £80-£100 depending on experience.
The role:

•    Working as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant with a student to provide additional support
•    Implementing strategies to support the students’ academic and social-emotional development
•    Create personalised learning plans with the support of teachers and other professionals
•    Monitoring progress and providing feedback to support the growth and progress of the student
•    Build a strong working relationship with the student, colleagues and other professionals

Requirements:

•    Degree in Psychology 
•    Passion for working with children to make a positive impact on their education
•    Excellent communication skills 
•    Ability to work effectively with the student, colleagues and other professionals
•    Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police check (if applicable) and professional reference checks
•    CV must cover the last 10 years employment history where possible
•    Right to Work in the UK
