Applications are invited for a 36-month fixed-term full-time University Teacher in Human Geography, based in the Institute of Geography and Lived Environment, School of GeoSciences. The successful postholder will be required to undertake duties including organising, teaching, and assessing at pre-Honours and Honours levels for the Geography degree programmes.
The Opportunity:
Applications are invited for a 36-month fixed-term full-time University Teacher in Human Geography, based in the Institute of Geography and Lived Environment, School of GeoSciences. The successful postholder will be required to undertake duties including organising, teaching, and assessing at pre-Honours and Honours levels for the Geography degree programmes. The postholder will contribute to team teaching on several courses, including ‘Fundamental Methods in Geography’, ‘Research Methods in Human Geography’, and ‘Fundamentals of Research Design’. They will also be required to supervise and mark final year dissertation projects and PGT dissertations, contribute to residential field class teaching, act as a student cohort lead, and contribute to the administration of the Geography Degree Programme. The post is full-time (35 hours per week) structured around regular on-campus working.
