This fantastic Primary School based in Wednesbury is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join them. This school has prided themselves on providing opportunities for all our pupils to achieve their full potential educationally, emotionally and socially. All of their staff will work hard to promote talent and engage pupils in activities that develop self-esteem, confidence and a positive outlook.
Your new role
You will be giving 1:1 support to a Year 6 child. This child operates at an early years level with cognition, learning and communications needs. You will need to have strong communication skills and have a gentle and caring approach to be successful in this role.
What you'll need to succeed
- You must have 2 years experience in a classroom setting.
- You must have Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- You will be required to have experience supporting children with SEN.
- You will be required to have experience working in a nursery setting, following the EYFS curriculum.
