The role:
Reporting to the Head of Connections you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the
Connections Commercial team. Leading the development and delivery of efficient, best-in-class customer
connections experience. Be accountable for the development, implementation, and communication of
the Connections Commercial strategies along with measuring and reporting on commercial performance
on connections for all market segments.
Responsibilities:
· Development and maintenance of the Connections Commercial Policy for connections ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory rules.
· The continual review of Connections commercial strategy and policy and activities to ensure that they are delivering connections margins and financial returns.
· Monitor the performance of commercial strategies and the development and tracking of key performance indicators.
· The development, maintenance, and review of a suite of materials that can be used to disseminate policy changes and updates internally and externally.
· Attend and contribute to Commercial Connections national groups/working groups/forums.
· Working collaboratively with the exec team and senior colleagues across the organisation, the Finance and Procurement teams to ensure that connections pricing reflects up-to-date costings, other colleagues involved in commercial connections, Field Operations Directors and Heads of Operations and the corporate communications team to develop and coordinate company messaging.
Requirements:
· We are looking for an inspirational leader with an ability to execute change whilst creating a great team culture and working environment.
· Educated to at least HNC level. Ideally, you will have a commercial background and an appreciation of commercial connections within a regulatory framework.
· You will be strategic and analytical professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be able to demonstrate strong business acumen with a proven ability to deliver quality outcomes, on time, on cost.
· Knowledge of connections commercial strategy, policies and relevant licence conditions within a regulatory framework would be beneficial.
· You will need to be able to travel as this role requires regular visits to other sites therefore holding a full and valid driving licence will be beneficial.
