SalaryWe are seeking an electrical professional to join the team at the Peterborough site of this global Company.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract supporting the Plant Operations Team this position will carry out electrical maintenance to Mobile Water treatment equipment. The position will also include other routine maintenance tasks, regeneration operations.
Ideally you will have experience working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PC Software.
You will be involved with:
Fault finding in control systems (PLC s, SCADA, DCS etc.) through preventative reactive maintenance
Electrical and PLC support to the Plant and Assembly Team
Production of documentation and drawing for the plant PLC
Maintaining electrical control systems in containers, trailers and skids. Including lighting, direct on-line, instrumentation, pumps/motors, etc.
Working on some PLC modifications and fault finding in the regeneration plants, for sites, and on the control systems for mobile water treatment equipment.
Other work will include assisting in the development of plant modification and improvement work
Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Maintaining the integrity of work rules and processes
Following EHS and Quality standards and suggesting possible improvements
Participating in training and team meetings and making possible suggestions for improvements.
To carry out this role you will need to be 18th Edition qualified with excellent wiring skills along with:
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
- Experience in industrial electrical works
- Previously worked in Industrial area, assembly or other operational role
- Proved record of EHS and Quality awareness
- Experience in the Water treatment industry is an advantage but not essential.

Hours are 7.30 to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Overtime paid first 5 hours Monday to Sunday at 1.5
all additional hours over 5 will be x 2
Bank Hols paid at x 3
Plenty of OT available after 4pm and at weekends, rarely before 7.30am
