About the company
A leading Managed Services Provider and Business Management Consultant within the education sector are looking for a proactive, inquisitive and knowledgeable individual to join their team as a 1st/ 2nd Line support engineer.
The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, 3+ years' experience and the desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
,To provide 1st and 2nd Line support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
,Working alongside the helpdesk team to resolve support calls
,To escalate & work with third party suppliers to successfully resolve issues
,To undertake audits and provide recommendations on customers' IT environment
,Resolve technical issues
,Assist other members of the support team
,Assisting with creation of technical documentation and proposals
Candidate Requirements
Essential Skills and personal qualities
,At least 3+ years' experience in a similar sector (ideally within Education sector or another MSP)
,Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
,Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite - Exchange Online, Outlook, Word, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint etc.
,Knowledge of configuration of hardware and the deployment of equipment
,Knowledge of incident detection, analysis, resolution, and communication
