1st Line Support

• IT Support Analyst
• 5 month contract inside IR35
• £150 per day – fully on-site
• Sheffield 
• Interviewing this week with the view to start w/c 26/02

A Local Authority based client is currently seeking a temporary IT Support Analyst to join them their IT department where you will provide some additional capacity within the organisation to cater for a growth in demand on the IT team as they introduce new systems and applications within the organisation. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for investigating and resolving IT problems to reduce the number of incidents across the organisations.
• Provide 1st Line Support functions when required as directed by the IT Operations Manager to provide a professional and timely service to our customers.
• Contribute to the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the data centre environment, including physical and virtual servers, storage and networks, to ensure effective operation to meet the requirements of the Information Technology Strategy
• Ensure effective IT security is implemented across the organisation including but not limited to security patches, antivirus, web and mail filtering to ensure our data is secure.
• Raise and own to resolution support calls with 3rd party suppliers in the event of a problem or incident managing the supplier to ensure a timely response within agreed SLA’s.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to staff and managers within area of expertise

Experience they are looking for?

• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/10 desktop environment
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange, Skype, Azure, AAD, Security and Compliance, managing licenses)
• Proven knowledge of deploying Windows operating system, software and security patches using MS SCCM
• Good sound knowledge of providing IT Support
