Position Summary

The Business Administration Apprentice will work within a friendly and supportive team to develop a range of Business Administration skills, including:

  • Communication
  • Record and document production
  • Decision making
  • Interpersonal skills
  • IT
  • Quality
  • Project management


Typical Responsibilities

Through the apprenticeship, with relevant training and development, you will support the wider Project team with a wide variety of tasks, including:

  • Managing the project calendar and facilitating meeting room bookings
  • Providing support for team travel and hotel bookings
  • Ordering supplies
  • Supporting the management of agency timesheets and expenses in accordance with procedures, maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Developing Microsoft office skills to support the management team in the preparation of high-quality documents including PowerPoint presentations, charts and reports.
  • Providing input to the wider team’s innovation and continuous improvement plans
  • Working as part of the integrated team, developing communication skills and building relationships with the team, customers and stakeholders.
  • Writing project communications


You will also be given the opportunity to gain insight into a wide range of functions on the Project, including Project Management, Project Controls, Commercial, Procurement and HR.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain BPSS Security clearance
  • Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Proactive and willing to work under own initiative as required
