Our Internship Program
Discovery Education’s internship program is called B.O.L.D. (Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development). The paid internship program is nine weeks from June 17, 2024 – August 16, 2024, and interns will be required to work a 37.5-hour work week.
Throughout the 9-week internship program, you will complete important and meaningful work and project assignments with a focus on providing you opportunities for growth, visibility, and exposure within the organization. You will be paired with a Mentor that will be your guide for the projects and work assignments.
Our BOLD program will be held in our UK Headquarters located in Bath. This is a hybrid role in which you will be required to come into the Bath office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with the ability to work remotely on Monday and Friday.
We are looking for students that:
- Are pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree and building a strong academic record.
- Have outstanding leadership experience in school.
- Have a strong interest in education technology.
- Have experience with Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- School Sales: conducting a research project to gain a better understanding of the situation in schools, and how our products are used to impact teaching and learning. This would involve becoming familiar with our programmes, building relationships with teachers and schools, conducting data collection and analysis, turning that data into actionable points, and supporting the schools team to integrate this understanding into their processes.
