Are you an experienced 3D CAD Technician aspiring to work a varied position in a role where you will have a great work life balance and brilliant opportunities to expand your skills alongside a well-established company who are doubling their profits on a yearly basis?

This company was founded in 1928 and specialise in steel manufacturing of access and architectural works. With the long heritage of the company they have moved into multiple engaging sectors such as nuclear, rail and education. They have been growing at a great rate and are now looking for the perfect fit to grow their 17 strong design team.

In this dynamic role, you will be expected to use Autodesk Inventor to create 3D technical drawings including some bespoke fabrications on exciting one off projects. As the company grow they are looking for individuals with aspiration and drive to fill new roles and lead teams. This presents a great opportunity to establish a position and work towards future career progression.

This role would suit a 3D CAD technician looking to use and develop their knowledge within a varied team of experts whilst establishing themselves in a growth orientated company then look to progress and develop into further roles.

The Role:

• Construct bespoke drawings and designs to feed into a variation of clients within the steelworks industry
• Maintain files and records as per industry guidelines
• Liaising with the project team, client, architect and structural engineer and providing your expertise where necessary
• Monday - Friday (8:30-5pm & early finish Fridays)

The Person:

• Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor
