Shared care Nanny role for twin girls, including travel and light housekeeping!
Job Summary: A lovely family in Kennington are looking for a nanny to help mum take care of 2 twin girls. Day to day duties will include taking the girls swimming or to the park, preparing lunch and laundry, watching them while mum runs errands etc. The perfect nanny for this role will be organised, happy to offer support and can provide advice on developmental stages. Mum and dad both enjoy having as much involvement with the twins as possible, so they are looking for a nanny who is very happy with shared care.
They enjoy travelling a few times a year and will provide accommodation if the nanny accompanies the family. During this time usual hours will be worked, or condensed hours, offering a little time off in between.
General duties:
- Shared care with mum and dad
- General nanny duties
- Take care of twins while mum runs errands etc.
- Prepare lunch and dinner from time to time
- Laundry
- Take the girls swimming with mum – when Dad is not able to join
- Occasional travel with the family
- Take the twins for walks to the park etc.
- Arrange activities such as arts and crafts, weekly music class, play dates, local play groups, age appropriate activities in London etc.
- Taking care of one twin while mum takes the other out
- Encourage conversations during meal times
Candidate requirements:
- Organised
- Knowledgeable of developmental stages – able to offer advice
- Happy with shared care
- Happy to travel from time to time
- Experience with twins (not essential)
- Happy to work around cats
- Driver (not essential)
- Happy to trave with the family to Switzerland (20th March – 5th April)
DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
