SalaryMy client based in Stoke Newcastle-Under-Lyme is currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 tonne driver to join them on a temp basis lasting 4-5 weeks, could go on past this duration
Paying between £12.00-14.00 per hour weekly pay, hours of work are 10:30-18:30
The client is a Hospital Sterile Services Unit (HSSU) transporting sterile and disinfected surgical equipment to local hospitals.
As a Driver you must be comfortable with manual handling and happy to move transport trolleys weighing upwards of 250kg. As well as a basic knowledge of current driver hour legislation, you will hold a driver digital tachograph card. You'll be a great ambassador for our unit and our customer's first point of contact
As a Driver, you will:
Collect and make deliveries by van or car to customers, driving 7.5T vehicles
Receive and check deliveries of medical devices from customers
Help keep equipment in good working order and report any faults
Keep a clean, tidy work environment and identify stock issues as they arise
Maintain accurate tachograph records and documentation
