Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-Tonne Flatbed vehicle within the Bristol area, following all applicable road and traffic regulations
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and follow securement procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, ensuring its cleanliness, safety, and maintenance
- Effectively communicate with the client's customers and follow delivery instructions accurately
- Complete necessary paperwork and ensure that all records are maintained accurately
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid UK driver's license with Category C1 entitlement and no more than 6 penalty points
- Previous experience driving a 7.5-Tonne Flatbed vehicle is necessary
- Excellent knowledge of UK road and traffic regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload materials safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
The pay rate for this position ranges from £12.50 to £13.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and skill level.
