7.5T Driver

Description

Do you enjoy being outdoors, engaging with the public? Based within the Aberdeen City and Shire Area? If so, I have positions available for the right Candidate for holiday cover through out the year.

Are you an experienced 7.5 tonne driver with chain skip experience? Looking for a new challenge? This LGV Driver role offers holiday cover and may be the perfect role for you, no matter your current situation.

Duties:
· Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safe delivery or collection of skips
· Load and unload Skips using appropriate equipment,
· Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines for that day
· Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform maintenance tasks
· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

What you need to succeed:

· Have previous driving experience with chain lift skip experience
· Experience driving a 7.5 tonne lorry
· Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card
· Holder of a digital drivers Tacograph card
· Be willing and capable to work outdoors in all weather
· Awareness of Health and Safety within a working environment
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public
· Good level of fitness
· Able to manage simple forms and paperwork as required
