7.5T Driver

We're a leading manufacturer of convenience food in the UK and our purpose is to make every day taste better. We're a vibrant, fast-paced leading food manufacturer. Employing around 13,600 colleagues across 16 manufacturing units and 17 distribution depots across the UK. We supply all the UK's food retailers with everything from Sandwiches, soups and sushi to cooking sauces, pickles and ready meals, and in FY23, we generated revenues of £1.9bn. Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.
Tamworth:
A major picking depot, employing more than 130 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.
What you'll be doing:
From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed. On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with. Role Details:

• Shift Times: 1pm Start Time (8/10 hour route)
• Pay Rate: £14 per hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am and + £1.15 for Sunday work)
• Overtime: Premiums are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter.
• Shift Pattern: Sunday to Friday with a rolling rest day (5 out of 7 days)
• Workload: On average between 20-30 drops per day

What we're looking for:
Being great with people is essential. In fact, this is the first thing we look for when we recruit a Greencore driver. Of course, you also need to have a full UK driving licence held for at least six months with 7.5T entitlement, with a maximum of 6 points.
