We are looking for a Clinical Research Nurse. This post is advertised as part-time (14 hours per week).
The Opportunity:
The post-holder will be part of a collaborative research programme aimed at developing a fertility preservation decision aid for children and young adult males with cancer.
Salary for nursing posts
A market pay supplement equivalent to 7% of salary shall be payable in addition to substantive salary. Additionally, the normal incremental pay range for this post will be points 1-9 of the published scales.
An Honorary NHS contract will be sought for the successful post holder. You therefore must be eligible to hold an honorary contract with NHS Lothian and must also be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
Your skills and attributes for success:
-Primary nursing qualification
-Evidence of further education including post-graduate certification/diploma/Continuous Professional Development in relevant area
-A minimum of 24 months research nursing experience in a Clinical Research environment
