We are looking for an experienced IT Service Professional to join the second line Service Team within Service Management section (within Information Services Group) on an open-ended basis. This role offers a salary of £31,396 – £36,024 and has a hybrid-working pattern. The post holder is expected to work in the office, in Edinburgh, at least one day per week. We are looking for someone to work full-time (35hrs per week). However, we are committed to offering flexibility so would be happy to consider flexible working options, i.e. compressed hours.

What the job involves:
Providing second line support for high priority and core services to the University community
Leading in fulfilling service requests, handling incidents and standard changes related to the services
Responsibility for support call triage, investigation and escalation to Service Operational Managers and supporting technical teams
Working with an ITIL based approach and contributing to Problem identification and resolution as well as Change processes working alongside experienced Service Managers
