Are you passionate about project delivery? We are looking for a Senior PMO Analyst (Engagement) with a proven track record of delivering change as a project manager or programme manager to join the Project, Programme and Portfolio Office (PMO) in Information Services (ISG).
As a Senior PMO Analyst you will be part of the ISG PMO management team with line management responsibilities. You will work closely with PMO colleagues, project, programme and portfolio managers, as well as staff across Information Services and the wider University. As our Engagement lead, your primary focus will be supporting the scaled adoption of project, programme and portfolio standards, facilitating workshops, leading our training service and providing consultancy services.
The role offers a salary of £45,585 to £54,395 pa (a revised salary range for this grade of £48,350 to £59,421 pa is planned to take effect from Spring 2024) and has a hybrid-working pattern, involving working on-campus in Edinburgh at least one day a week and when necessary for in-person meetings and activities. Working hours are ideally 35hrs per week, but we will consider flexible working requests.

What the job involves:
You will support project, programme and portfolio delivery through the provision of high quality PMO services, including:
leading on embedding project delivery best practice
facilitating workshops such as benefits mapping, project planning, and lessons learned
designing and delivering a wide range of project related training as part of an established Project Management Training service
development, management and continual improvement of PMO services, including our project systems, reporting, and strategic planning
assuring project, programme and portfolio delivery
maintaining and developing guidance, standards, and methodologies to support project, programme and portfolio delivery
