A Level Film and Media Teacher

Permanent vacancy – 37 hours per week
£26,298 to £39,609 per annum

As one of our A Level Film and Media Teachers, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure the current scheme of learning is followed and adapted to meet the needs of our students. The Creative Arts and English Curriculum area prides itself on ties with industry, and as a Film and Media Teacher you will facilitate workshops with Screen Yorkshire, aiding students to work with industry professionals.

You will work with our young people to deliver an outstanding learner experience that supports the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours for them to progress to their desired next step. For the Non-Exam Assessment aspect of the courses, students have access to a suite of PCs with Adobe Premiere Pro. You will also have access to Premiere Pro through your College account to allow you to keep up to date with your own video editing skills.

The successful candidate will ideally have a strong understanding of assessments, be learner focused and target driven. We are looking for a Teacher that challenges students to achieve their full potential and demonstrates a natural learner first approach to make a real difference to the future of our learners.
