SalaryWe are seeking experienced and highly qualified First Officers to join our growing team at European Cargo. As an A340 First Officer, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of long-haul freighter aircraft. You will work closely with the Captain to ensure the successful completion of each flight, from pre-flight planning to landing and post-flight procedures.
European Cargo is a UK based cargo operator with a fleet of A's. With its unique fleet of Airbus A340 long-haul freighter aircraft offering professional and competitive logistical solutions, European Cargo has helped to establish Bournemouth International Airport (BOH) as a reliable, cost-effective, and strategic air freight hub.
Initially responding to the UK Coronavirus (COVID-19) medical supplies crisis during 2020, European Cargo has expanded into the expert handling and transportation of a wide variety of air cargo, including perishables and e-commerce, utilizing the unique main deck cargo pod system.
The Airbus A340-600 aircraft is capable of non-stop flight over long distances. European Cargo now operates routes from the UK and Europe to a range of destinations across the world, including the Far East, the United States, Africa, and the Middle East. The aircraft can carry a maximum payload of 76 tons with 440cbm capacity across upper and lower decks.

Role Requirements:
- UK CAA ATPL or ATPL (f)
- 1400 hours multi crew
- 12 months flight recency
- ELP - 4+
- Valid type rating - Airbus A320/A330/A340/ A350/ A380 (must be valid at 1st day of OCC)
- Right to live and work in the UK
