They are a household name and are leading representatives in their legal market with an enviable reputation to back them in their field.
The role is in their Abuse Compensation Department. They are looking for a solicitor, they are flexible with the range of PQE they will consider. or a legal professional with the equivalent and relevant experience. The ideal candidate need not be experienced in abuse claims but must have previous personal injury experience and/or civil litigation. Salary is negotiable DOE.
Their abuse department is a national leader in the niche area of abuse law. They are involved in landmark cases, specifically in abuse suffered in foster care and fought for a change in the law which allows an abuse claim to be brought before the Court regardless of when it took place. It is their belief that justice for child abuse survivors should be accessible no matter how long ago it happened. They have acted as the lead Solicitors for large group of survivors who suffered abuse in children’s homes and detention centres. They have been instrumental in the development of scheme cases which has enabled survivors of abuse, who were unable to pursue their claims through the Courts to receive compensation for their experiences.
