The Role The University of London Worldwide is seeking to appoint an Academic Editor to join the Editorial team.   You will be responsible for editorial work in relation to the preparation and development of online programmes. Working with academic subject experts, learning designers and a studio team, you will develop online content aimed at improving understanding and enhancing engagement. You will maintain standards and oversee the quality of a range of learning materials for new and existing programmes by adhering to house style, digital strategy and copyright and accessibility guidelines. You will work with production schedules in accordance with budgeted hours, keeping the wider team informed of project status. You will also provide learning design support for new programme development.  We’re seeking an experienced editor with strong analytical and evaluative skills who can copyedit and proofread in an online environment. Your experience will involve working in an editorial setting as well as with academic subject experts, design teams and freelance editors.  For a full role profile, please refer to the job description below.
