The Role
As an Academy Apprentice, you will have an opportunity to learn multiple roles within our Trade Depot. You will deal with customer sales at the trade counter and over the telephone, make outgoing calls to existing account holders to promote new products and offers, and will work in the warehouse dealing with incoming deliveries, stock control and despatch of goods to our customers. You will be familiar with processing customer orders and taking delivery of goods and the basic administration related to these functions. A key element of your role will be to gain technical knowledge of the products and services offered together with the bespoke systems and equipment used in the depot. You will communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers to build relationships and provide a high-quality service that encourages repeat business.

The Apprenticeship
  • Trade Supplier Level 2 - Intermediate Apprenticeship
  • Training provided by in house Learning & Development Team
  • Support from external training provider
  • 15 Month programme including minimum 12 month learning period plus end point assessment
  • Apprentices without Level 1 English and Maths must achieve this before taking the end-point assessment at the end of the apprenticeship. This will be covered as part of your apprenticeship.
