To assist with the day to day operation of the Comhairle’s Accommodation unit and ensuring the general well-being of the residents.
This post is fixed Team to 31st December 2024.
Requirements
Knowledge:
- Understanding the needs of Homeless persons.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Basic admin skills.
- IT skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good inter-personal skills.
- Good Customer Care skills.
- Flexibility in terms of shift working.
- Ability to cope with emergencies.
- Ability to handle conflict.
Education/Experience:
- Experience of working with client group or similar.
- Good standard of education.
Other Factors:
- Awareness of the importance of confidentiality.
- Respect for others.
- Positive attitude.
- Emotional warmth.
- PVG Check.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
