We are currently recruiting for an Account Chef Lead to be dedicated to supporting the team while inspiring our catering professionals to create exceptional and safe dining experience.
Job Description
In this role, you'll be responsible for orchestrating and supervising the entire food production process, staying within budgetary constraints and upholding the highest client and company standards, as well as regulatory requirements.

You'll also collaborate closely with our onsite catering team and the Operations Performance Food team to drive innovation and create exceptional dining experiences for our clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the creation, production, and delivery of restaurant, café, hospitality, and event food across multiple catering sites, upholding the highest quality and service standards, all while managing budgets.
  • Lead and support food service delivery at key hospitality events.
  • Proactively ensure compliance with Company and statutory Food Safety, Health & Safety, and operational policies, such as ensuring menu compliance with Natasha's Law.
  • Maximise organisation and quality food delivery for our on-site teams.
  • Assist in training ISS catering systems and procedures.
  • Cover key site management roles during holidays and sickness.
  • Implement and control the company's food concept within our business.
  • Collaborate with the Food Development team, bridging the gap between Operations Performance and on-site locations.
  • Inspire kitchen teams at our sites, identifying areas for culinary development and providing necessary training.
  • Serve as an ISS ambassador, maintaining professional communication with all stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of sharing best practices to elevate ISS Food Services' culinary standards.
  • Ensure nominated suppliers are used for the necessary supplies.
  • Evaluate proposed service changes for financial, personnel, and operational implications before implementation.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of senior chef experience.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop chefs and their skills, supporting capability development and succession planning.
  • 7061/7062 or equivalent qualifications in food preparation and production.
  • At least a Level 3 food hygiene certification or equivalent.
  • A passion for food and service.
  • A strong focus on food safety and health & safety.
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial understanding with a proven track record.
  • Experience in menu planning and cost management for various dining settings, including restaurants, coffee shops, hospitality, and events.
  • A "can-do" attitude with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience in organising and delivering hospitality and events.
