Job: Account Manager (Hybrid Woking + Remote)

Account Manager Role Overview;

You will be an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and consultative individual within their Sales and Marketing team who wants to make his or her mark on the business world and wants the opportunity to build a customer base. Your mission will be to develop your set of clients, grow 'white space areas’ through cross selling and upselling, provide outstanding customer service and ensure a high retention rate. This role requires a high attention to detail, preferably a technical background and someone who is driven.

Account Manager Role Outcomes;

  • ensuring targets are met in line with business objectives - including, telemarketing, face to face appointments for their sales teams, webinars and attendees to events…

You must be able to use business development skills to engage net new accounts and qualify correctly to ensure Business Development and Account Managers are given a commercially suitable lead.

Able to communicate effectively on the phone and convey complex solutions, digital and creative services and SaaS solutions to key decision makers in the target marketplace.

Work with marketing to aggressively follow up every lead and make suggestions about future campaigns.

Work closely with their three business units to identify opportunities for all areas based on the shape of the conversation.

Ensure meetings booked are not cancelled using marketing and value-add materials.

Hit, or preferably exceed monthly & quarterly targets.

To shadow and assist in closing opportunities.

Run webinars with the aim of converting to a demo and then a closed sale.

Learn their digital strategy message and convey that to customers to advise on digital design and social strategy.

Manage CRM to ensure companies are qualified and targeted correctly.

Increase the amount of business gained from each account through cross selling and upselling.

Analyse existing accounts and look for opportunities to provide additional services from across their group.

  • Increase the revenue generated by each account by educating customers on the latest releases from their group and assisting with the business case and ROI analyse required to close the business…

Lead negotiations on price and ensure that revenue is always maximised.

Engage with all levels within each customer from 'C’ level down and build strong relationships across the organisations.

Hit monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Engage with all elements of their group and continuously learn about the technologies each area provides and how they will benefit the customer.

  • Build a strong business pipeline and deliver sales forecasting to line manager…

Have foresight of future monthly and quarterly targets and strategically seek out opportunities to hit these.

Accurately forecast opportunities for current month and quarter and feed this back to your manager on a weekly basis.

Understand the buying cycle and qualify via a SCOTSMAN methodology (training given).

Ensure regular customer contact through phone-based activity and face to face meetings.

Responding to client emails promptly and professionally without fail. Manage client issues and work with the support team to rectify them.

Have regular review meetings and provide analysis on support tickets with a view to decreasing this over time.

Keep clients up to date with emerging technologies and ensure that they are made aware of any relevant promotions or internal constraints.

Make sure database and opportunities are updated proactively.

Provide forecasts weekly with a view to providing a 3-month rolling forecast.

Ensure pipeline is at least 4 times target.

Other Stuff;

£’s; fully DoE salary to £40k with realistic double OTE (uncapped)

Benefits; share scheme, company pension, death in service.

Location; hybrid working - 3 days from their central Woking offices, 2 days from home.
