Job Purpose
- Responsible for as Transmission relationships with relevant market segment.
- Developing strategic and operational relationships to maximise insight, drive customer led investments (RIIO) and business development strategy (including Hydrogen).
- Managing and resolving escalation across internal and external stakeholders & customers, driving improved performance across our organisation for customers.
Day in the life
- Managing working groups/steerco's of internal cross function stakeholders to proactively create strategies for changes which will impact customers/market or/and reactive measures such as escalations.
- Working closely with broader Commercial Directorate to build customer insight analysis on existing and new ventures (such as H2 or CCS).
- Presenting market segment trends and updates to exec and steercos on a regular basis.
- Influencing and gaining advocacy for RIIO-3 plans through market segment broad or one to one engagement. Helping to hone investment proposals through engagement.

Knowledge, experience and technical knowhow
- Broad knowledge of the energy system and market.
- Experience in shipper/trader market.
- Natural Gas storage market experience.
- Global market understanding.
- Excellent customer and stakeholder relationship management & experience at senior levels.
- Previous account management experience.
- Senior and exec level engagement and presentation experience.
