This role will manage a large number of the European Corporate Accounts and will be responsible for retaining and growing client revenue and relationships among these companies. The portfolio will consist of corporates in the energy sector ,retail and consumer goods, fashion, luxury goods and trading.
Role Focus
The role will focus on managing, retaining and growing relationships with clients through a variety of mechanisms, e.g. phone and web based solutions and in person meetings. The successful candidate will also ultimately be expected to recognise upsell and cross selling opportunities within these accounts for both subscription and ad hoc advisory services and work with the wider Sales, Marketing, Client Success and Consulting teams to realise these opportunities. The position will be largely office-based with travel to strategic client offices and attending Maplecroft or industry events. Verisk Maplecroft works on a hybrid home-office model and requires presence two days a week in the office.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain sales and maximise adoption of Maplecroft’s offerings by successfully managing an extensive client portfolio;
- Maximize the client experience for clients, including coordinating internal stakeholders and responding to client questions;
- Develop portfolio and client specific strategies to ensure retention and revenue growth;
- Ownership of client engagement and ensuring the client interactions are coordinated across sales and marketing, client success, and research teams to develop more scalable engagement techniques with these clients e.g. online training and one-to-many initiatives;
- Provide feedback on established products and services to relevant internal departments;
- Recognise competitive threats and mitigate risks, as well as feeding back intelligence to the relevant research and product teams;
- Increase users and usage across the portfolio;
- Ensure all relevant interactions and transactions are completed in Salesforce, including accurate pipeline management;
- Renew existing services with each client in a timely manner – ensuring all renewals are closed ahead of the renewal date;
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell of the existing Maplecroft portfolio.
