CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGER, Events Industry
Office base in Wokingham – Salary up to £40,000 per annum + benefits
OVERVIEW:
Due to continued expansion, we have an opportunity to join a growing, successful live event, production and equipment rental company, working for corporate and private clients delivering brand activations, parties, weddings, festivals, concerts and more!
As one of our Client Account Managers, reporting to the Sales Director, you will be part of the primarily office-based team in Wokingham. We utilise cutting edge, stage, light, sound, video, power and rigging equipment to bring client visions to life, creating unique, bespoke and memorable events in the UK and occasionally overseas.
THE ROLE:
Building excellent relationships with clients through outstanding customer service, and facilitating requirements for the duration of each project and beyond. Event management, strategic planning, project management and sales/admin support. Working in close partnership with our Technical Project Managers to deliver client events.
MAIN TASKS ASSIGNED:
Provide outstanding event management and customer service
Seeing projects through from initial enquiry to delivery, in collaboration with the Technical Project Managers and Production Team
Organise sub-contractors, performers and / or artists
Obtain technical specifications, upgrade options and pricing for client quotations
Present ideas and proposals to clients
Create and issue paperwork including contracts, purchase orders, invoices and event schedules and liaise with the finance department to monitor payments and account status
Gain regular feedback from all parties’ post-event
Act as main contact for specific clients, ensuring regular communication results in client needs being met and potential issues dealt with professionally
Ensure Technical Project Managers, Production, Operations and Warehouse Teams, and other functions of the business, have correct and relevant information about your projects
Liaise with clients to establish requirements for future events and repeat bookings, qualifying
sales leads
Have input into the wider sales strategy with the Sales Director, identifying new opportunities for sales growth within the target markets of the business
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in the live events sector
Experience in account/project/sales management
Be prepared for continued development and have a flexible work ethic including working occasional evenings & weekends at events
Good IT experience using a CRM/database and MSOffice
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
SALARY & BENEFITS:
Salary up to £40k (dependent upon level of experience); Company Pension; 28 days holiday per annum, including bank holidays; Free onsite parking; Working hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm including a one hour daily lunch break; Meals and accommodation provided if working on site and away from the office
