Premier Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a leading business that specialise in providing IT solutions and IT services to both private and public sector clients across the globe.
My client is looking to recruit a Major Account Manager to their team and are therefore looking to speak with candidates who have a proven sales track record within the IT Industry.
Responsibility / Main Duties
- To reengage accounts that have spent in the past and also have a proactive approach to prospecting new business
- Understand how to sell the full portfolio of products and services which includes the following business units: Workspace / Data Centre / Networking / Services
- To build successful relationships with all customers, ensuring that pre and post sales teams are all engaged in the right manner.
- To be able to work independently as well as in a multi-tiered dedicated account management team
- Pro-actively manage accounts following the CRM model, ensuring that all activities are logged accordingly
- Ensure that forecasts and associated up-side deals are maintained in line with the Company expectations, with accurate updates as required
- To ensure that any commitments are followed up and that all the stakeholders are bought into the agreed deliverables
- Any other duties and responsibilities as required by the Sales Manager
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Educated to a high standard including English and Maths
- Technology/IT background
- Proven sales track record in the IT reseller industry preferred
- Numerate
- Experience of Microsoft Office, Navision/QICT would be an asset
- Highly motivated, driven, hungry to succeed
- Relationship building skills
