Account Manager - £25,000 - £32,200 + commission and OTE earnings
About the role:
We are expanding our Sales team and are looking for an Account Manager to contribute to the continued growth within the North.
As a Junior Account Manager you will nurture existing client relationships, as well as generate and develop new business opportunities in a variety of sectors including Financial Services, Public Sector, Media, Retail, Travel, Healthcare and Insurance.
You’ll be managing the sales cycle from end to end, working collaboratively with academy, technical presales, marketing, legal and people team. Together you’ll ensure that the content and strategy reflect the brand image of FDM and generates results as determined by the key sales stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business development – development and execution of go-to-market plan
- Account management - gathering requirements from customers and sourcing relevant candidates from the FDM academies for roles
- Cross functional collaboration with other areas of the business including Recruitment, University Partnerships, People Team, Academy, Product Owners and Sales Management
- KPI management - able to achieve targets and weekly performance KPIs Account Management administration through Cloud CRM management tool – Salesforce
- Providing pastoral support to our in-house trainees, both in the process of securing their placement and in their time on-site
- Attendance & contribution at daily stand up and regular group sales meetings
- Use of collaboration & Networking tools including Microsoft Teams, Yammer & LinkedIn
- Research and development - Staying up to date with industry & sector developments through research

What we are looking for:
- Bachelors Degree or Sales/Customer Facing experience (1-2 years)
- Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Commercially aware and target-oriented individuals
- Eager to learn and develop professionally to progress within the business
- Technically proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment
