Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our growing team. As an Account Manager at Vertex, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their business needs, and ensuring the successful delivery of our Software Engineering and Cloud Solutions.

This position would suite either someone who is currently working as a technical Account Manager or possibly an Engineer or Project Manager who would like to move to a slightly more commercial position.


Objectives of this Role:

Act as a reliable contact for all client queries and needs, providing seamless support to the current delivery team in fulfilling requirements.

Assist in building and maintaining client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals to ensure a smooth and proactive approach to account management.

Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to build deep relationships with new and existing customers and resellers.


Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the current customer base to identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities, contributing to revenue growth.

Regularly communicate with the sales team to share insights, coordinate efforts, and ensure a unified approach to client management.

Take inquiries and requests from customers, addressing their needs promptly and effectively to enhance overall customer experience.

Conduct regular meetings with other members of the team to discuss progress, share updates, and collaboratively find new ways to improve business processes.


  • Project Coordination:

Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of software solutions.

Communicate project timelines, milestones, and updates to clients in a clear and timely manner.

  • Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with clients to understand their technology roadmaps and align our solutions with their business objectives.

Provide strategic guidance to clients on how our services can address their evolving needs.

  • Revenue Growth:

Set and achieve revenue targets for assigned accounts.

Monitor and report on key account metrics, such as revenue growth and client satisfaction.

  • Market Research:

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and potential threats.


Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Account Manager in a technology consultancy or related industry.

Strong understanding of Software Engineering and Cloud technologies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.

Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
