Sanderson Plc is working in partnership with a leading global enterprise and public sector markets. We have a contract opportunity for Accounting Services Executive- Farnborough.

Job Title: Accounting Services Executive

Location: Farnborough - (2 days per week onsite)

Job Type: Contract via Umbrella

Duration: Contract till this year and possible extension

Role Purpose:

  • This is an exciting position for a temporary Accounting Services Executive within the Group Accounting Services team BMW Financial Services (GB) Limited. The team perform several business-critical Accounting Services tasks for the UK and Ireland each day including Payments, Cash Allocation and APAR. Reporting to the Accounting Services Manager, you will primarily support the team in respect of Claims Management Company (CMC) requests for data and information, ensuring that accurate and timely information is provided to internal teams.
  • The temporary Accounting Services Executive role will include responsibilities around CMC requests for information:
  • Timely response to emails regarding CMC information requests from internal teams
  • The ability to work with multiple sources of data across multiple systems to extract the relevant information.
  • Presentation of information and data in an accurate and understandable format, including to senior management
  • Liaising with team members and multiple internal stakeholders to review existing processes and implement efficiencies.
  • Create reporting and tracking of CMC information requests.
  • The temporary Accounting Services Executive may also be required to complete other tasks as required by the Accounting Services Manager relating to Payments, Cash Allocation and APAR responsibilities.

You should have:

  • Part qualified accountant preferred but not essential i.e., AAT, ACCA, CIMA
  • High level of numeracy and accuracy including completing complex reconciliations
  • Ability to analyse data and present to management.
  • Comfortable with performing a range of different tasks and processes including responding to immediate needs of the business environment and conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a time pressured environment, escalating issues and prioritising queries effectively.
  • Ability to work under own initiative within a team environment.
  • Good communication skills with colleagues and external partners at a range of levels including senior management and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where a high degree of control is required.
  • Excellent Excel (i.e., Lookups, Pivot Tables, Graphs etc.), Word and PowerPoint skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of SAS and SAP is desirable.
