Job Title: Accounts and Audit Semi Senior

Overview: Perrott Partners Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is hiring a dedicated Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join a friendly team. The role involves diverse client projects across various industries, such as rugby clubs, golf clubs, wellbeing resorts, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Company/Non-incorporated Entity Accounts Preparation: Ensure compliance with FRS 102 1A for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Corporation Tax Computations: Assist in accurate and compliant preparation of corporation tax computations for clients.
- Audit: Participate in external audit engagements, contributing to planning, fieldwork, and reporting (audit experience desirable).
- Tax Preparation & Other: Engage in tax preparation activities, occasional VAT return preparation, and related tasks.
Hybrid Working Environment:

- Receive support for ACA or ACCA qualifications, including course fees, exam fees, and paid study leave.

Requirements:
- Minimum 12 Months Accountancy Experience: Essential experience in a small to medium-sized practice in England.
- Educational Background: Studied or currently studying ACA or ACCA; auditing studies and client interaction experience considered.
- Analytical and Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills crucial.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Caseware, Digita Corporation Tax, Mercia Audit Manuals, and proficiency in online bookkeeping packages (Xero, Sage, Quickbooks) beneficial.
Working Environment:
- Office Culture: Relaxed atmosphere, no formal dress code, occasional team events.
- Location: Conveniently located near the train station, High Street, accessible by several bus routes.
- Working Hours: Standard working hours, flexibility between 10:00 and 16:30. Occasional overtime may be required.
