CPL are currently working with a highly successful, local family run manufacturing business in Newry area to assist in the recruitment of a capable, self-motivated Accounts Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.

Roles & Responsibilities;

• Purchase ledger management.
• Check supplier statements, follow up on discrepancies, and process supplier payments in accordance with agreed credit terms.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Analyse and post direct expenses from credit card statements, expense claims, and petty cash.
• Produce and submit various government statutory reports, such as VAT returns, ECSL, and Intrastat.
• Administer outsourced weekly payroll calculations and electronic wage payments in accordance with contracts.
• Assist with parts pricing.
• Support the annual audit process.
• Generate weekly management reports.

What we are looking for;

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly accurate and numerically minded
• Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
• An interest in learning new skills
• Computer literate - Microsoft Office, Excel (incl. formulae), Word and Outlook
• Strong communication skills
