Accounts Assistant Part Time

Their mission is to ensure that this expert knowledge helps people in their relevant profession deliver the best results to benefit everyone who requires their services.Your new roleThis role requires you to support a broad range of accounting services including the preparation of annual accounts, bookkeeping and processing VAT returns.You will assist the MD in supporting and producing accounts to meet their objectives, as well as performing routine accounting tasks such as managing the purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, raising invoices and tracking payments.Working closely with the events team to oversee all payments for attendees, sponsors and third parties, including credit control and ensuring the smooth running of all financial aspects of the office.What you'll need to succeed

• Experience with the full spectrum of accounting services. (minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role)
• Experience with Sage accounting software (Sage 50 Desirable)
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, E
• Be proactive and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written skills with a positive and supportive personality.
• The ability to attend on site in Sheffield at least 3 days a week.
