SalaryAccounts Assistant -- Full Time - Office Based.
This is a great opportunity to enhance your accounting skills, whilst undertaking a variety of financial administration tasks as part of a centralised accounts team.
Due to recent growth through acquisition, our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis joining in April .This role commences as a three-month temporary contract with an opportunity to transition into a permanent position, based on the demonstration of exceptional performance.
As Accounts Assistant you will undertake the following tasks;
- Processing and recording daily financial transactions
- Maintaining the purchase ledger, matching, batching and coding of purchase invoices
- Responding to customer account related queries
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Reconciling bank statements
- Maintaining accurate records using accounting software.
- Producing statements for customers
- Managing the accounting email inbox and handling queries
