Accounts Payable Clerk

Your new company

Hays are recruiting for a successful technology company based in Manchester city centre, seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk on a 6-month fixed term contract.

Your new role

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Managing outstanding payments, monitoring credit limits, and ensuring timely collections from debtors
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Process invoices and ensure timely payments

What you'll need to succeed

This role requires keen attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all processes. You will possess strong Accounts Payable experience and be able to hit the ground running. You will have excellent communication skills in order to work efficiently within the team and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts. The successful candidate will ideally have strong experience with Excel and various accounting software.
