The person should be willing to work throughout the school supporting both learning and teaching.The successful applicant must be prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of the school and to take part in continued professional development.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Contribute to planning and evaluation of learning and assists in the recording of pupils’ progressSupport individual and small groups of children in the curriculum, to accelerate their learningSupport the emotional, behavioural and pastoral needs of all pupils, including children with additional needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activitiesAssist with the development and implementation of Individual Education / Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmesEncourages pupils to develop as independent learners with a thirst for learningTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Understanding of National Curriculum, EYFS Guidance and other codes of practice e.g. SEN, Equalities, SafeguardingEffective use of ICT to support teaching and learningAbility to interact well using courtesy, tact and diplomacy and negotiation skillsAbility to establish professional, effective working relationships with a range of partners/colleagues and children and young people.Applications are welcome from those who are suitably qualified and experienced.
