The Company:

My client is a UK based company, with international reach, who specialise in Acoustic consultancy and building compliance testing. Established 20 years ago, the company offers a range of services including Acoustic design advice, noise and vibration assessments, and sound and air tightness testing, primarily for the construction industry. My client provides services across various sectors including Hospitality, Education, Residential, and Healthcare. They are looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their head office, in Liverpool!

The Role:

As an Acoustic Consultant, you will ensure construction projects meet UK building regulations and write up detailed reports. Moreover, you will work with the design teams to ensure cost effective Acoustical design. This is a hybrid role, as only 2 days at the office are required. The successful candidate will have the incredible opportunity to progress to Head of Acoustics in the future.

Role responsibilities include:

• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct occasional site visits for larger projects to ensure successful project delivery.
• Design Acoustic solutions for a range of exciting projects.
• Be involved in construction RIBA stages 1-3.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Acoustic Consultant, specifically technical report writing.
• Membership to the International Institute of Acoustics (MIOA).
• A degree in a relevant field (Acoustics / Physics / Mechanical Engineering, with relevant modules).
• Experience of building Acoustics in construction RIBA stages 1-3.
• Knowledge of new builds and existing structures is preferred.
• Acoustic design experience is preferred.
