Active Leisure Trainer

FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning, Higher Education & Apprenticeship markets across the UK.
We're representing one of the largest providers in our industry, who provide training across all four nations in the UK. Our client train 6,000+ apprentices every year and have been working in training for 30 years.
We're on the lookout for an Active Leisure Trainer. You will work with apprentices studying for their level 2 & 3 Active Leisure apprenticeship qualifications. To be considered you don't need prior experience working as a trainer within apprenticeships. My client will consider personal trainers, who have their own level 3 qualification, who might be open to using their skills in a different capacity.
To be considered candidates must drive and have their own vehicle. You can expect to spend 3-4 days a week on the road visiting learners around Cardiff and the surrounding areas (all mileage paid for).
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Visiting individuals in their workplace using your vocational experience and knowledge to teach and support learners to achieve their apprenticeship?
* Managing your own diary to ensure you are delivering against your KPIs, planning and attending scheduled visits with apprentices to ensure they progress in line with their expected programme duration
* To ensure employers/learner mentors are engaged in the apprentices learning and progress, supporting them to achieve their potential?
* Identity and engage potential employers and enrol learners onto apprenticeship programmes
* The training, assessment, progression and completion of learners which will be delivered through face to face and remote learning sessions in line with agreed delivery models
* To effectively diary manage to ensure all learners within your caseload are fully supported to meet company and contractual requirements
KPI's/Key Deliverables:
* Achievement of targeted timely success rates
* Maintain a caseload in line with company targets
* Retention of learners against agreed company targets
* Accurate recording of learner progression within Maytas system
Candidate Requirements:
* GCSEs English and Maths C or above (or an equivalent qualification)
* Relevant industry related qualifications such as HND or NVQ's (desirable)
* CAVA qualification (desirable)
Award in Education and Training (desirable)
