Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily activities and programs for senior residents in a Care home
- Develop engaging and stimulating activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being
- Create a monthly activity calendar and distribute to residents and staff
- Lead group activities such as exercise classes, arts and crafts, games, and outings
- Provide one-on-one support and companionship to residents who may require additional assistance
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents
- Maintain documentation of resident participation and progress
Experience:
- Previous experience working with seniors in care home setting
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to empathize with and understand the needs of seniors
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
