Job Summary:As a Part-Time Activity Coordinator at Gôl Centres Cardiff, you will be responsible for the execution and facilitation of engaging activity sessions. Coordinators will follow detailed instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for participants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting an active lifestyle, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively implement activities as per provided guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Session Execution:Effectively execute part-time activity sessions, including Zorb Football, Battle Archery, Cricket, and other recreational activities, following provided guidelines.
Ensure activities are conducted safely and adhere to established protocols.
Health and Safety:Prioritize and enforce health and safety guidelines during all activities.
Conduct regular safety checks to ensure equipment and facilities meet safety standards.
Address and report any safety concerns promptly.
Participant Engagement:Interact with participants, cultivating a positive and inclusive environment during sessions.
Provide clear instructions and guidance as needed during activities.
Equipment Management:Set up and dismantle equipment for each activity session according to provided instructions.
Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues promptly.
Communication:Communicate effectively with participants, providing information about upcoming activities and guidelines.
Collaborate with other part-time staff and the management team to maintain consistency in session delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in coordinating and facilitating recreational activities is preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and execute activities effectively.
- Passion for promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures for the activities offered.
