We’re recruiting an Activity Hub Coordinator to join our amazing team!
What happens at our Activity Hubs you may ask? Our trained team provide a comprehensive programme of social and creative activities for ex-offenders, both following release from prison and those serving community sentences. Our participants are invited to come and enjoy the support we offer to ensure they are well-equipped with the necessary skills and confidence they need to re-enter the community.
As our Hub Coordinator, you’ll be our chief organiser and be responsible for all aspects of setting up and overseeing our activities and projects. This will include ensuring that all hub activities are scheduled and delivered in accordance with participant needs and contractual requirements.
We’ll need your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as we like to ensure a warm, welcoming hub environment, in which our participants are enabled to fulfil their potential. You’ll also need to be well-organised to co-ordinate our extensive programme of activities.
Our successful candidate will ideally have worked in the care/criminal justice sector before and have extensive administration experience. However, we appreciate that not everyone can tick every single box, just so long as you’re confident and are comfortable working with a diverse range of people from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances.

Key Responsibilities


  • Co-ordinate group and one-to-one activities in accordance with participant needs
  • Produce, interpret, and fully document activity data so it can be evaluated and monitored
  • Line manage the performance and development of the Hub Administrator
  • Attend meetings and take minutes as required

Skills and Experience


  • NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of IT, including use of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with a range of people by phone and in person
  • Able to organise and manage a varied workload with conflicting priorities
