Activity Instructor
Whitlingham Adventure offers a wide range of adventurous activities on water and land to young people, adults, families and to local communities. Activities include canoeing, climbing, kayaking, orienteering, sailing, stand up paddleboarding, windsurfing and more.
Based within Whitlingham Country Park, a gateway to the Broads National Park, the centre provides outdoor learning activities with schools and youth groups, individual courses, adventure clubs, craft hire and a range of opportunities to be active outdoors.
We are looking for qualified Activity Instructors to join our team who will deliver to a range of people in their relevant activities. With at least 100 hours instruction over a minimum of one full season of working in an outdoor centre or similar environment, you must hold at least one of the following National Governing Body (NGB) Instructor/Coach qualifications:
Royal Yachting Association (RYA)
- Dinghy Instructor
- Windsurf Start Instructor
British Canoeing (BC)
- Paddlesport Instructor or Leader
- Stand up paddleboard Instructor
- UKCC Level 1 Coach
(Or equivalent schemes/NGBs)
Flexible working, with the opportunity for progress and development within the centre and the industry, gaining a range of experiences during the season. Instructors are employed on a variable hours basis, with activities mainly being delivered throughout the summer season including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
