What you’ll be doing
- Responsible & accountable for the running of the on-site activity department on respective park(s).
- Engage with product and team at the point of delivery. Take charge of the activity delivery & maintenance; hosting activities & events in both daytime and some evening activities; all whilst bringing personality and enthusiasm to every aspect of the role and inspiring & leading the team to exceed guest expectations.

- To complete all scheduling of the activities to ensure monthly revenue targets are achieved, keeping on top of capacities so guests are able to enjoy popular activities during their stay.
- Complete the weekly rota for the team and the weekly Activity Programme. Ensure these are communicated to relevant people including on-site guest facing departments and central support social & marketing teams.
- To upload and manage the online booking system for activities, keeping on top of session capacity and availability to be able to upload overflow sessions well in advance.
- Regularly communicate with Head of Activities and fellow entertainment/ Activity Managers across the company to ensure department standards are kept and innovation is strived for
- Create a working atmosphere that is safe, happy, and inclusive in line with the Away Resorts values.
- Work closely with the Owner Experience Manager to ensure guests & owners are accurately communicated with programming of upcoming events.
- Work with monthly budgets for stocks, equipment & maintenance.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
Can you demonstrate the following? If so, we’d love to hear from you:
- Good level of general education
- Management in guest facing role
- Holiday Industry/Leisure/Hospitality experience
- Superb organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to adapt to social styles depending on audience
- Be able to adapt to immediate or unforeseen challenges of the industry as well as able to work in a fast paced environment.
