Actuarial Consultant - Public Sector (Pensions)

Aptuary is working with a pensions consultancy who are looking for a pensions actuary to a growing public services team.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting in the delivery of advice to clients – this may include managing key client projects directly, and/or supporting our partners and directors to deliver to our clients.
• As well as being involved in the technical aspects of projects, this will also involve working with and building relationships with clients directly, working as part of a team and developing those around you.
• Assisting in the development of new business, both with existing and new clients.

Skills and experience:

• A part-qualified actuary with relevant industry experience.
• Someone who can explain complex problems in a simple way to help everyone around the table understand.
• Desire to solving problems and delivering excellent advice.
• A great team worker – this will either be as part of a team, or managing a team, depending on your experience.
