Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Analyst to join the Ops Team within our Financial Reporting Centre (FRC).
As an Operations Analyst you will ensure that we run an effective and efficient financial reporting service to the FRC. This will be achieved by performing various tasks and processes such as the creation of model points and setting off Prophet runs.
You will also be involved in the testing of new/updated processes and liaising with the different product teams to deal with any queries around these changes.
Whilst this role falls within our Actuarial Department it is not essential that you have any previous Actuarial experience and it is an operational role.
This is a hybrid working opportunity, which means you can split your working week flexibly between your home and our newly refurbished offices in Hove, to help achieve a work-life balance which suits you.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills are essential.
  • The ability to identify improvements within processes/process flows.
  • A critical thinker with the ability to solve complex problems through using their own initiative.
  • A good communicator with the ability to influence others through evidencing of observations and recommendations.
  • Experience within financial services operations/reporting would be highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and/or use of Prophet would be highly beneficial.
  • Ownership of your own personal development and supporting your colleagues in their personal development to maximise the quality of the service we offer to our customers.
