We are recruiting for a medical Admin Assistant with a can-do attitude, excellent customer service skills and attention to detail to join our small and friendly team.
26 hours per week, to be worked across 4 days. Working hours to be discussed at interview.
The ideal candidate must be able to efficiently work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and flexible with cover for holiday and sickness. Computer skills essential. Full training will be given.

Main Responsibilities:
- Deal with a high volume of work and queries
- Take messages from patients and other hospitals/clinics (and record on SystmOne)
- Deal with requests and queries via the AccuRx system
- Scan incoming correspondence and ‘workflow’ as appropriate
- Coding
- Monitor emails
- New patient registrations
- Typing and sending referrals
- Deal with private work and medical notes requests
- Process repeat prescriptions
- Computer data entry (general tasks and specific individual tasks)
- Work alongside the Reception team
- General housekeeping – washing up, making coffee, loading dishwasher, tidying waiting room, clearing up after patients etc.
- Basic office duties – photocopying, etc
- Other duties as required
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.44 per hour
