Mansfield Crematorium is looking for a dynamic, well organised and empathetic individual to join their team on a permanent contract. You will be responsible for all aspects of administration within a respectful bereavement service.
The main duties will include liaising with funeral directors and bereaved families, administration of cremation and burial documentation, within a legal framework, and advising and guiding families on the suitability of memorialisation options.
You will require good interpersonal skills including compassion, which is essential when supporting the bereaved.
The normal working hours will be 15 hours per week, Thursday and Friday. Hours/Days may vary in accordance with service need therefore the need for flexibility is required.
The successful candidate will need to be able to use their own initiative, work at pace, work effectively as part of a team and be flexible in their duties and hours, in order to meet service needs. This will include occasional weekend and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
